Vintage 6 inch Columbian Vise

Massive Heavy Duty Vintage Columbian Bench shop vise (vice). Made in the USA.

Very big, old school and badass. See Coca-Cola can for size reference.

6 inch wide jaws and opens up an incredible 13 inches (insane!)

The vise stands 11.75 inches tall and 25 inches long. It weighs 105 lbs.

There are marks on the jaws from decades of hard work. Not certain but I believe it's from the 1950s. Once was in a US government facility and is stamped as such.

Still works perfectly. The jaws and the screw are in excellent condition and it clamps down tight. The swivel base works nice and smooth. The handle is 7/8 of an inch thick, 15 inches long, solid and super straight. The slide is gusseted at the front jaw as part of its extra heavy duty design.

It has been refurbished, cleaned and greased. Looks great in bare steel with patina. It is protected with Gibbs Brand Lubricant.
